There can be various ways of preparing for NEET exams and suggestions are of course not limited to NEET preparation. However, here are a few suggestions that would help you build up your strategy on NEET 2020 preparation.

Know the syllabus

Before you begin with your NEET preparation, get to know the prescribed syllabus thoroughly. The syllabus is available and you can download the same from the NTA official website, i.e., ntaneet.nic.in.

Time Schedule

Begin with scheduling your time. A proper timetable is very important for preparing for any competitive exam. NEET is one of the competitive exams that require a proper study plan.

Oftentimes, we think that we can complete the whole syllabus at a specific time. But you must be aware that the syllabus is vast and unless you manage your time accordingly, you will be left behind.

Make sure that you stick to your timetable fervently. This will help you score well in the NEET exam.

Study Checklist

The main papers for the NEET exam are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. If you want to clear the exam with good marks, you have to make a checklist of what to study and how, to begin with, your studies.

Making a checklist of the topics to study is very important as it will help you cover each topic effectively.

There will always be weak and strong points in studies. However, the majority of the time, most students tend to ignore their weak spots. 

To effectively prepare for the NEET exam, you need to study smartly.

But remember that you should stick to single study material or to the teaching that your teacher taught you in your coaching class. Using books of different authors and teachings of different teachers may confuse you, in the end, you lose the confidence that you should have. 

If you refer to the online teachings or online guide, make sure that you refer to the teaching of one teacher.

Make Notes

For you to remember each topic that you have studied, make sure that you make notes of it. Making a habit of noting down what you have read will help you remember the topics in the long run. However, that alone will not be enough. You are required to revise the topics regularly to be able to clear the NEET exam.

Practice and mock tests

To remember what you have read, you have to make yourself a habit of practicing. 

Knowing the syllabus alone won’t help you to gain experience. Thus, to retain what you have read, you have to keep practicing. 

Keep solving as many questions as you can regularly. 

Attempting mock tests is a better way to identify your weak points and improve your studies. There are many mock tests available online for NEET preparation. Attend the mock tests and gain knowledge on the type of questions that comes for the NEET exam. Mock Tests will also help you to improve your speed on attempting the questions during the exam. 

Eat healthy food items

Remember, long study hours can increase the chance of health problems. Take care of your body as it is very important. Maintaining your health plays an important role in your life and especially during exam time, it’s important to adhere to your health and food intake. Take healthy food such as greens, juices, fiber, etc., which are healthy. Try to avoid oily and spicy food. Also, never skip your meals in any circumstances. Eat your food on time for a healthy body and a healthy mind.

Short Breaks

Long and strenuous study hours can be fatigue which hampers the eyes and body.

Take short breaks from time to time. It is very essential. The short break helps your brain to relax and it is also refreshing.

In these short breaks, you can go for a walk or do some regular chores or exercise as that would help improve your blood circulation. You can also watch your favorite TV show while taking a break from your studies.

This helps you to prepare well for your exam.
